Q?What is the difference between a Lymphatic Drainage session and a Lymphedema session?
A.

Lymphatic Drainage is designed with the intent on helping decrease swelling or congestion with a client who has a lymphatic system that is intact. A lymphedema session is for clients who have been diagnosed with a lymphatic instability/imcompetency which requires specialized training and protocols. Both of these sessions can be accommodated with Devine Massage Therapy.

Q?What should I expect from a Lymphatic Drainage session?
A.

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy/Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very relaxing and light touch therapy. Most clients fall asleep, and note that they feel lighter afterwards. It is RARELY painful. You will undress and lie on the table as you would for a massage session, and will be draped during the whole session.

Q?Are you able to provide more than one session type/technique during the same session?
A.

Yes. It is very common to have some Craniosacral Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage techniques applied during the same session. Based on request and your body’s needs, massage, Craniosacral, and Lymphatic Drainage can be combined during any session.
